Product data

Valley flashings are used where two pitched roofs meet forming a valley. We supply a two piece valley flashing solution. The larger piece sits below the sheet acting as a valley gutter, allowing water to run down the valley. The smaller piece sits on top of the sheet to neatly finish the joins. Our valley flashings are folded to order to match the two adjoining pitches. You can select your internal angle to suit.

We supply valleys flashings at 3m lengths with 200mm x 200mm wings (valley gutter) and 100mm x 100mm wings (cover flashing) folded to the internal angle required to match your adjoining roof pitches.

We highly recommend that you measure the valley angles prior to ordering as adjusting on site can be quite difficult.

If required we can provide a quote on adjusting the wing dimensions to suit your requirements.

Valley flashings are available in 0.7mm gauge with welted edges to give extra strength and stability.

Manufactured to order to suit your required internal angle.

Available in a wide range of colours.

Approx lead time: 10 to 20 working days

Please contact us on 01384 273811 to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Disclaimer: All colours and finishes shown are web representations. Although we make every effort to show our products in their original colours, due to photography and individual monitors, actual colours may vary. Metal finishes are not colours they are the natural colour of the material which can vary, images shown are representative as colour coatings and metal finishes can differ from batch to batch.

Finish data

Galvanised

Galvanised sheeting is a high quality hot dipped zinc coated steel with no additional finishes added.

Please be aware that galvanised sheets cannot usually be painted until they have weathered. This usually takes approx 6 months. If a more durable coloured finish is required please consider using paint or PVC plastisol coated sheets

Notes:
*Recommendations for period to first maintenance are based on the premise that the strength and integrity of sheets would diminish after the period specified, unless maintenance was carried out. The periods estimated are based on a theoretical weight loss as a result of natural weathering under test conditions. All figures are estimates and do not constitute a guarantee period.

Please be aware that galvanised products have a shorter expected lifespan than coated products. We would recommend that galvanised products are not used within 3 miles of the coast as the lifespan can be significantly reduced.

Polyester and metallic paint

Paint coated sheets are a very high quality galvanised steel sheets with a primer paint finished with a final layer of polyester or metallic paint.

Five paint colours*

Galvanised substrate to BS EN 10346:2009 and primed undercoat offering excellent corrosion resistance

Please be aware that polyester paint coated sheets and flashings are susceptible to light scratching during transport, unloading and installation. If you are purchasing polyester paint coated sheets or flashings we highly recommend ordering a tin of touch up paint. If a more durable finish is required please consider using PVC plastisol coated sheets.
*Metallic Silver only available in 0.7mm gauge
